We have been Dorrance Ford since August of 2020. The corporation was founded in December of 1999 as Galesburg Ford by Gene and Sandra Simmons. In 2006 Bill Dorrance started buying the business. Building on the strong foundation the Simmons Family created in the community, we continue to build our business with a commitment to customer satisfaction and a passion about our products. 

The Dorrance Family has been an owner of Dorrance Ford since 2006. As we embarked on a new chapter, building a new 30,000 square foot dealership facility, located at 10350 Miller Drive. In 2020, Bill and Wendy Dorrance decided to change the name of the corporation to Dorrance Ford to represent our commitment to our community and customers. We are proud of commitment from all our employees to perform day-to-day operations that exceed customer expectations.  Our employees are Ford factory trained and certified giving you the piece of mind you deserve whether you are buying a vehicle or are in for service. 

In 2003 and 2007 we earned Fords Presidents Award, an award given to less than five percent of dealerships nationwide.  This is a goal of ours each and every year.  It is awarded based on customer satisfaction and vehicle sales in our market area. 

We are located between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek at I 94 exit 85.  Our small town atmosphere will be a refreshing change to what many of you have experienced with more traditional high pressure dealers.
